Purpose

The AVODA House Academy is the formation wing of AVODA House and is designed to provide in depth biblical teaching, patient discipleship, and simple tools for those who desire faith integrated in their everyday life.

This is not a degree you “complete”. This is formation over time. God is not in a rush. Neither are we.

Our Rhythm

The AVODA House Academy disciples residents through a seasonal rhythm of learning, engagement in everyday decisions, and intentional rest.

Throughout the journey individuals grow across spiritual, relational, vocational, and civic areas.

Discipleship within the Academy touches four key areas:

Spiritual foundations and discipleship
Leadership and service in the home and the Church
Faithful stewardship in work and vocation
Understanding civics and the public square

The Academy gathers live on Wednesdays at 8:00pm Eastern Time (U.S.) via Zoom.

Enrollment

The AVODA House Academy is open to anyone and freely offered at no cost. All new guests begin with an O/C (Orientation Cycle), which serves as the starting point for entering the Academy.

New guests are encouraged to:

Experience the patient pace of discipleship.
Engage consistently with the formation sessions.
Ask questions and pray about growing here over time.

Below, you’ll find what to expect during an O/C.

O/C

Orientation Cycle

1) Before the Academy

Before entering the Academy, new guests complete an O/C. It is designed as a space to discern if you would like to continue.

O/C includes a welcome video, a written guide, an invitation to a temporary communication space, and access to the live Academy sessions for 8 weeks.
The Academy gathers live on Wednesdays at 8:00pm Eastern Time (U.S.) via Zoom.
Access to live sessions begin once the O/C officially starts.
Those who enroll before the O/C officially begins may use this time to review the materials, when available, and prepare.
O/C is designed for new guests and only needs to be completed once as your entry point into the Academy.

2) Next O/C

Enrollment is currently open and closes April 1st, 2026. O/C officially runs April 1st, 2026 through May 27th, 2026.

3) After O/C

After O/C, guests who choose to become residents of the House are welcomed into the Academy through a simple transition and invited into the official communication channel for ongoing Academy updates.
